Step-by-Step Process for Auto Body Repair
Vehicle Drop Off
You’ll drop off your vehicle and sign the authorization for repair form. If you are using a rental service, the rental car company then assigns a rental car to you, and you’re on your way!
Disassembly of Vehicle
In most cases, if the estimate has been written, parts are ordered, and the vehicle is disassembled and inspected for additional hidden damage. If no estimate is available, then a complete comprehensive estimate is written while your vehicle is disassembled.
If your vehicle has any inner structural or frame damage, it is repaired on one of our state-of-the-art frame machines.
Once your vehicle is removed from the frame machine, we begin cosmetic repairs to sheet metal, plastic repairs, and any replacement part operations.
Painting & Polishing
After cosmetics repairs are completed, our expert technicians obtain the vehicle’s paint code and utilize one of our state-of-the-art computers for the exact color match. All panels that are to be refinished then go through a very thorough preparation and your vehicle is then refinished. After that, we put your vehicle through our polishing process to restore its natural shine.
Once the polishing process is completed, we return your vehicle back to the auto body technician for reassembly. At this stage, all handles, moldings, bumpers, glass, and interior parts are reinstalled back on the vehicle.
At this stage, the vehicle is washed, vacuumed, and the interior is thoroughly cleaned.
Final Quality Control
All repair operations are thoroughly and stringently adjusted, if needed, to ensure all work performed meets manufacture guidelines. Your vehicle may also be taken on a test drive.
